Loose Meat aka Barbeque Beef
I have used this
recipe countless times over the years to feed a crowd. I threw TJ a huge
40th birthday party with close to 100 people and this was what I served. I
spent 3 days cooking so I would have enough and turned out there was nothing
leftover. When TJ and I would have guys over to help with a building project
they always requested I make this recipe for them. I have served this to the
guys at hunt camp after a long day of hunting (yes, at times I would
stay back and play camp cook). It is perfect for gatherings where everyone
serves themselves.
3 Pounds Boneless Beef Chuck
1 1/2 Cups Ketchup
2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Red Wine Vinegar
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire
Sauce
1 Teaspoon Liquid Smoke
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
Place chuck
roast in crock pot. Combine remaining ingredients in mixing bowl. Pour barbecue
sauce mixture over chuck roast. Cover and cook on Low 8 to 10 hours or 4 to 5
hours on High.
Remove chuck
roast from crock pot and shred meat. Place shredded meat back in crock pot.
Stir meat to evenly coat with sauce. Spoon meat onto sandwich buns and top with
additional barbecue sauce if desired.
Enjoy!

Sounds delicious - and I like that it makes a lot.
OMG, I would freak if I had to cook for 100 people.
