My life changed dramatically and forever when I lost TJ.

I welcome you to follow along as I adjust to my "new normal".

It is not all puppies and ice cream but it is my life....real and honest.

Mid Life Crisis Thoughts

I wanna have a mid life crisis. TJ did it before he died. He bought a little car to build. Unfortunately he didn't get to finish it & enjoy selling it for a profit before he passed. My girlfriend just bought a Harley. I wanna have a mid life crisis too....it seems like fun.

I just don't know how this mid life crisis thing comes about. I have lots of useless things I would like to buy but I am just too practical and can't justify them to myself. Should I quit trying to justify or quit being practical.

Now I have the fear of an impulse buy that I will regret.

What are your thoughts?

Have you done it? Do you wanna do it?

Sounds like fun doesn't it?

Don't we all deserve to treat ourselves?

Life is short...........

  1. Wow. I am going to have to think about this one. There is nothing that I want that comes to mind. Other than moving to London. Which is not going to happen. But I do wish I had done something like that when I was in my 20s.
..as for you..if there is something you want..why not? -Mary

  2. Sandy, I hate to tell you, you are too young for a mid life crises! It must be something else nagging at you.
My mid life crises was to stop the (career) world and get off, forget about 'things' and lead a simple life. In other words to be poor but happy hehe. It's worked wonderfully so I'd say if you feel an urge to do something, justify it to yourself any way that works, and do it.
Lovely to see your blog post!!

  3. If it doesn't put you into a debt you cannot afford, and you have the means, why not? If it makes you happy, and we don't worry how it looks to others who might judge, GO FOR IT!

  4. Mid life crisis. Hmm. I just want to keep on driving down the highway and not have any restrictions put on me. It's good to be home, but I wasn't ready to come home yet.

I'm disappointed I didn't get to meet you.

  6. LMAO! If you wanna do it, do it! You only live once and you can't take it with you! SO DO IT! You don't know what it is yet, cause you don't know what it is. It will hit you one day to DO IT, so DO IT! And then the next day you may wanna kick yourself (or me) in the ass, for doing it, but so what! You won't know until you DO IT! I think you are OVER analyzing it. You WILL know, but never regret. BTW, did you get your thyroid checked too? LMAO! Love ya!
